Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy governs what you may do with Sellufy, and in particular what you may generate using our AI features. It forms part of our Terms of Service. If you breach this policy we may act on your account under the Terms.

1. How our AI features work

Sellufy is a Product Information Management and Digital Asset Management platform. Our AI enrichment and AI product image generation features are an independent interface built on top of third-party AI models. Sellufy does not train, host, or own any AI model of its own.

Text enrichment and image generation are currently processed by Google's Gemini models. When you use an AI feature, the product data or prompt you submit is sent to that third-party provider for processing and the result is returned to you and stored in your workspace. Sellufy is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, or by any other AI model provider referred to on this site.

We may change the underlying model or provider over time to improve quality, cost, or availability. Where that changes how your data is processed, we will update our Privacy Policy accordingly.

2. What Sellufy's AI features are for

Our AI features exist for one purpose: producing commercial product catalog content. That means product titles, descriptions, attributes, categorisation, marketing copy, and product imagery for items you have the right to sell. Any other use is outside what this service is provided for.

3. Prohibited generation

You may not use Sellufy's AI features to request, generate, store, or publish:

• Sexual and NSFW content. No sexual, pornographic, nude, lingerie-as-subject, suggestive, or otherwise NSFW imagery or text. This applies to prompts as well as outputs: submitting such a prompt is a breach whether or not an image is returned.
• Real people and likenesses. No deepfakes, face swaps, face manipulation, or depictions of a real, identifiable person. Do not use our AI features to imitate anyone's likeness, voice, or identity, including public figures.
• Minors. No content that depicts, sexualises, or endangers a minor, in any style or context. We report suspected child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.
• Violence, hate, and harassment. No graphic violence, gore, hateful or extremist material, harassment or bullying of an individual or group, or content promoting self-harm.
• Illegal and regulated goods. No imagery or copy for products that cannot be lawfully sold, including weapons, controlled substances, counterfeits, or items that infringe someone else's trademark or copyright.
• Deception. No knowingly false or misleading product claims, fabricated certifications or test results, invented reviews, or content designed to mislead a buyer about what they are purchasing.
• Moderation evasion. Do not attempt to bypass, disable, or work around the moderation applied to our AI features, including through prompt injection, coded or obfuscated wording, or repeatedly rephrasing a prompt that has already been blocked.

4. Prompt moderation

Every image generation prompt is automatically screened before it reaches an AI model. A prompt that is denied or flagged is blocked and no image is produced. This screening also fails closed: if the moderation service cannot be reached, generation is refused rather than allowed through. Moderation is not optional and cannot be disabled for any plan or account.

5. Your responsibility for content

You are responsible for the product data, images, and brand assets you upload, and for anything you generate and then publish to a sales channel. You must hold the rights to the material you upload, and you should review AI-generated content before publishing it. AI output can contain errors, and accuracy of what you sell remains yours to confirm.

Every AI-generated image is tagged as AI-generated in your asset library so it stays identifiable. Where a channel or jurisdiction requires you to disclose that an image is AI-generated, meeting that requirement is your responsibility.

6. General platform conduct

Separately from the AI features, you may not:

• Break any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property, trademark, or publicity rights
• Upload malware or other harmful code
• Send spam or unsolicited marketing through the service
• Attempt to reach accounts, organizations, or infrastructure that are not yours
• Scrape the service outside our documented APIs
• Circumvent plan limits, usage quotas, rate limits, or billing controls
• Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission
• Store sensitive personal data the platform is not designed to hold, such as health records, government identification numbers, or financial account credentials

7. Enforcement

Where we find a breach of this policy, we may take any of the following steps:

• Blocking the individual prompt or output
• Removing generated assets from your workspace
• Suspending access to AI features for your account
• Suspending or terminating your account under the Terms of Service
• Reporting the activity to law enforcement where the law requires it

Serious breaches, in particular content involving minors, result in immediate termination without notice.

8. Reporting a violation

If you believe someone is misusing Sellufy, or you have found generated content that breaks this policy, email support@sellufy.com. We respond to reports within 3 business days.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our features change or as our providers' own requirements change. Material changes will be announced by email or by a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before they take effect.
